Although not quite as action-packed as the previous books, I still loved this one. Don't get me wrong, there's still twists that I didn't entirely expect, and some parts had me questioning what was going to happen next. I love how this last book ties it all together at the end and gives us the closure we need. I can't wait to see what other worlds (series) the author has created.
LOVING & ADORING this series SOOOOO MUCH!!!! DEF DO NOT WANT IT TO END!!! The characters are SOOOO MAGNIFICENT and my heart just loves them!!! The building back up after endings is what makes this particular journey sooo very special!!!:-). And the ending was SOOOO ON POINT in the most BEAUTIFUL way!!!:-). Cannot WAIT to continue on this journey!!!:-). LOVED IT!!!:-)
Sometimes it's hard to write (and even read "the end") because it always feels like there could have been more. This was the best last book I think I've read yet in a series! Still action, still plot twists and still an ending you're totally rooting for. The author has done a phenomenal job with the ENTIRE series. Highly and completely recommend every single book. I actually feel satisfied that the story came to an ending, instead of wishing for more. She nailed all my little questions from the previous book. Loved reading from start to finish..... This series was had to put down once I started. Now I'm looking forward to another series from Bridget Baker.
What a way to wrap the story up! I loved how the focus is on relationships, but the plot still carries on!
Ruby and Sam keep looking for ways to ease out of the leadership position she's found herself in. Then maybe Ruby's not really supposed to find her way out. What will that mean for everyone in their lives?? The characters flow well together in a fast easy read that can be a brief escape from your daily life. The main characters are developed well, and we can identify with them, but I wish we'd seen more of their relationships with those they had lost, that are returned to them. The jokes, and laughs that we given to offset the sorrow are perfect to keep the book light so it is still so much more moving than sad. I'm sorry to see their story end.
