Two worlds, one fate …
Alora’s life has been anything but magical. Since her parents died, she and her brother have been on the run from a creepy, doggedly determined social worker. In a few more months she turns eighteen, but until then, they’re stuck hiding. It’s hardly surprising that she dreams every single night of another world, Terra, where she possesses telekinetic powers.
What Alora can’t explain is how, when she breaks her arm in her dreams, she wakes up with the same (very real) injury on Earth. And if her dreams are fueled by wishful thinking, why isn’t being magical more fun? Since only men on Terra are supposed to be able to move things with their minds, Alora is forced to hide what she can do.

Wow! This is not the type of book that I would normally pick out…but so glad I took the opportunity! It took a couple of chapters for me to really start to understand how everything was set up and once I understood I couldn’t wait to hear the next section! It grabbed me and I immediately was so invested in the story. I LOVE how the characters are carried from one world to the next - kinda like The Wizard of Oz. Excellent writing and outstanding acting/reading!
This series has so much action and adventure that it's hard to stop listening to the audiobook! The world is amazing. The characters are interesting and well written. The narrator does an awesome job making the stories come to life!
